Welcome to the internet portal of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Beijing. This user-friendly site is intended to provide you with the news and information about the Bosnia and Herzegovina and its people as well as give an insight into bilateral relations between our two friendly countries.

Dear Chinese friends, I primarily invite you to explore the information about the breathtaking natural beauties, rich cultural heritage and plentiful tourist resources of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I hope that our internet portal will motivate you to visit our heart-shaped land in near future.

Likewise, I invite you to consider investing and doing business in our geo-strategically well located, resource and energy rich country whose stability is strengthened by our membership in the UN Security Council and the steps we have taken toward full membership in NATO and the European Union. We are here to assist you as you discover the value of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is a great pleasure and privilege for me to serve in Beijing as the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the People’s Republic of China, at a time this country is undergoing massive social and economic development.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in April 1995, political trust between our two countries has been continuously strengthened, and the level of exchanges has been steadily enhanced. People-to-people contact and cultural relations have been intensified during recent years. The Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina takes pride in contributing to this upward momentum.

The economic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and People’s Republic of China have not yet gained momentum but the rapid developments, which have been taking place in China as well as competitive advantages of Bosnia and Herzegovina, have paved the way for optimism. The Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina is working hard to introduce Bosnia and Herzegovina economic potentials to Chinese corporate community and relevant governmental institutions.

Given the political will on both sides, I believe that relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and People’s Republic of China will further improve in every field in the years to come.
